ESA launchpad for Irish start-ups unveiled at Tyndall

Tyndall National Institute in Cork is the site of a European Space Agency (ESA) Space Solutions Centre providing funding to start-ups with big ideas. Currently, the ESA Space Solutions Centre in Ireland is seeking entrepreneurs with innovative ideas for using space technology to develop new products and services in a non-space environment.

Successful ideas will will be provided with technical expertise, business-development support and funding to help launch the business.

There is a great pot of funding and supports on offer including:

  • €50,000 ESA BIC funding for start-ups
  • €40,000 technology transfer demonstrator funding
  • Access to a variety of additional funding opportunities
  • Business support through our partners and ESA BIC network
