Cork County Council Launches Planning Alerts

Cork County Council has recently announced the extension of its Cork County Alerts service to now include Planning Alerts. Receive an email alert with details of any Planning Application submitted or decided near your registered location or receive all your alerts through the MapAlerter App.

Full Weekly Planning Lists are also now available on the Cork County Alerts site for viewing (http://mapalerts.corkcoco.ie/). Planning Alerts have been automatically added to your account, but these settings can be changed by logging into your account and selecting the “Update the categories for which you will receive alerts”.

To login and manage your County Cork Alerts settings, please visit http://mapalerts.corkcoco.ie. Your login is your mobile number as 10 consecutive digits and your password is that which you selected during registration. You can easily reset your password and change your communication preferences by clicking here.

You can customize your planning alerts by setting a preferred buffer distance around your registered home location to determine the alerts you receive. Other categories can also be easily updated for roads, floods and severe weather. You can also manage your County Cork Alerts account through the MapAlerter app, which is a free download from the App Store or Google Play.
